Kindergarten at I.I.P.S. stands for a child-centered student friendly method of education wherein the students learn to communicate, play and interact with one another. So to say, they leave the warm confinements of their homes and get exposed to their first idea of friendship.

We provide an atmosphere conducive to developing basic skills through play way method and social interaction.

We have dedicated and qualified teachers who are instrumental in the personal, social and emotional development of the child. Various activities have been formulated to give the child a better knowledge and understanding of the world he lives in.

We provide a head start to the students which enables them to take to formal schooling naturally, effectively and instinctively.

We believe in the educational system set up by Maria Montessori and follow the Montessori methods of teaching i.e,

The Nursery classes begin with activities like napkin folding, dry and wet pouring, rug folding, shape puzzles, fruit puzzles, block play etc.

They then graduate to opening and closing of jars, drawers, latches, sorting and matching, paper crushing etc. in Lower Kindergarten.

In the Upper Kindergarten we have the mystery bag and the bingo game to improve their memory and vocabulary. The system enhances importance and use of the sense organs through the feel and touch activity, touch board and sound board.
