Primary education is the first stage of compulsory education. This stage of education is usually known as elementary education. Primary education is the foundation upon which the education system is built. There are two broad needs of children ie care and education. Care outside the home is necessary when parents are unable to provide it. Children are to be provided with care and at the same time education needs to be imparted. IIPS recognizes these factors and caters to these needs by providing all possible facilities to the children to build a strong foundation.

Here the children start their basic education with the various subjects such as English, Hindi, Maths, Environmental Science, General Knowledge and Computers. They also have Deeniyat/ Moral Science , Music / Quran to opt for. From Grade III the students can opt for a third language from any of the following languages - Urdu, Arabic, French, Malayalam, Marathi.

IIPS also provides for the upliftment of the physical and artistic skills of the students. Therefore we have the physical education classes as well as the swimming classes. There is also class allotted for the arts and craft. Education in IIPS also uses advanced teaching aids and Audio Visual aids. These help the children to easily grasp and retain the learning imparted to them as these forms of learning are enjoyed by the children.
