The learning process in IIPS is excellent for a number of reasons. We give the children a direct application in life approach. If the imparted information has relevance to every day life situations, the whole experience becomes meaningful and its understanding and absorption becomes easy.

We provide a variety of techniques of different methods like group discussions, seminars, paper presentations, brain storming, along with routine methods. By assigning topics to individuals and groups to explore and collect information, we help them to compile information and write papers. IIPS facilitates the students to make presentations in the class, develop confidence and improve their self esteem. The experience of exploring their IQ is enriched and the amount of information thus collected is a lot more than one could possibly give in the class through routine methods. After every chapter work-sheets, review sheets and question banks are given to the students for solving. The children are made to actively participate in co-curricular activities by arranging variety of competitions.

The curriculum is based on the CBSE syllabus. From grade VI to X there is the inclusion of science and social studies apart from the other subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social studies and a Third language which may be one of the following - Urdu, French, Malayalam, Marathi, Arabic. For XI and XII they have English , Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects. They have mathematics and biology from which they can select any one or both of the subjects. They also have an option of selecting any one from Home Science/ Computer Science/ Fine arts/ Physical Education. Apart from these the secondary grade students have physical education and swimming as part of their curriculum.
